Northcourt Care Home
Northcourt Lodge Nursing home is registered with Commission for Quality Care Inspection to provide residential care to 22 service users of both sexes over the age of 65 years old who require 24 hrs care. The Home is well maintained and regularly redecorated.
Our goal is to promote and protect physical, mental, spiritual and social well being of service users through assuring that quality services are provided by trained and responsible health care professional whereby service user's dignity, respect, freedom of choice, privacy, confidentiality and equality are maintained at all times. We aspire to achieve our goal through encouraging open communication and environment where service users and staff feel safe and comfortable to express their needs, which are acknowledged accordingly. We run non-discriminatory policy and accept service users from all ethnic groups.
-En-suite facilities are available in 8 bedrooms.
-Accommodation conforms to National Minimum Standards.
-There are assisted bath and toilet facilities on both floors.
-All bedrooms are furnished with bed, wardrobe, chest of drawer and seating for two people.
-If service users wish to bring their own furniture in that case they will receive all assistance in settling down.
-A nurse call bell system is in placed in every room.
-All areas of the home and grounds are accessible for wheelchair operation.
-There is a spacious garden at the rear of the home.
-All linen and laundry service is provided to the service users.
-Visits by a chiropodist every six weeks for service users.
-Visits by hairdressers every fortnight for all hairdressing needs
- A varied activity programme catered to tailor for all needs that take place daily. Along with regular trips out, entertainment & family events.
- Regular Doctor visits with visits from District nurses on request.
- Regular visits from the Hairdresser, Chiropodist, Optician & mobile library.
- Rooms with en-suite facilities with communal shower & bathroom.
- A varied nutritional menu choice with all special dietary needs catered for.
- A key worker system where each resident is assigned their own dedicated key worker.
- Person centred care planning.
- Last CQC inspection was compliant.
